Difference Between PMS, CRS, Channel Manager, and Internet Booking Engine


A property management system, or PMS, is a software that helps manage all the operations in a hotel from groups to accounting and check-in.


The CRS connects the PMS and all distribution interfaces.


The Stayntouch Channel Manager connects you to multiple OTAs. It is a tool that allows you to manage distribution across multiple OTA platforms.


Stayntouch Internet Booking Engine (IBE) is a URL that connects to your hotel's website. It helps customers book, pay for, and manage their stay directly. It gets the ARI directly from the PMS and sends back the booker’s reservation information.
