IDeaS G3

IDeaS G3 is a Revenue Management System (RMS) that provides Stayntouch PMS daily rate value recommendations (also known as decision files).

IDeaS will send an email to onboarding@stayntouch.com when they have a new hotel that needs to have an integration set up.

The way this works is as follows:

• Stayntouch PMS sends real-time messages to IDeaS G3 for reservations, groups, and inventory.   
  • Every 4 hours, there is an "IDP" (intraday processing) message sent.
  • This message is an inventory and summary for the last 45 days and next 365 days.
  • This is sent every 4 hours after End of Day.
• IDeaS G3 then produces daily rate of the day recommendations along with Minimum Length of Stay for BAR and other rates.
• IDeaS G3 sends these messages to Stayntouch PMS for processing.

STAYNTOUCH PMS SETUP

• Navigate to Settings > Integrations > Revenue Management System > IDeaS Revenue Management and complete the following steps:
  • Enable the ACTIVATE/INACTIVATE toggle for IDeaS to run. 
  • Enable the ACTIVATE/INACTIVATE toggle under G3.
  • HOTEL CODE: IDeaS assigns this.
    • Typical Format: ####
  • END POINT: This is assigned by IDeaS, and the standard is https://htng.ideasrms.com/ws/htng.
  • CHAIN CODE: Provided by IDeaS—casing is important here, so please verify.
  • USER NAME: Provided by IDeaS—casing is important here, so please verify.
  • PASSWORD: Provided by IDeaS—casing is important here, so please verify.

Overbooking (Optional)

• Turn on Sell Limits on the House and Room Type level if IDeas will be sending Overbooking limits
