PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Guest Balance Report Exportable Via CSV

 

When the Guest Balance Report is generated from Reports > New Report > Guest Balance Report, it can now be exported via CSV from Reports > Reports Inbox.




Rooms OOO/OOS Report Exportable Via CSV

 

When the Rooms OOO/OOS Report is generated from Reports > New Report > Rooms OOO/OOS, it can now be exported via CSV from Reports > Reports Inbox.





Alert User Upon Property Group Deletion

 

We’ve updated the UI of the alert users receive when attempting to delete a property group from Settings > Chain > Property Groups



The alert will read as follows: 

 

Delete [Property Group Name]? Here’s what will happen:

  1. Hotels in this property group will no longer be associated with it.
  2. This property group will be deleted from all properties within the chain.

 

Users have the option to select DELETE PROPERTY GROUP to proceed with deletion or select CANCEL. If the user chooses to CANCEL, the property group will not be deleted. If the user selects DELETE PROPERTY GROUP, the property group will be deleted. The Multi-Property Availability screen and Multi-Property dashboard (where activated) will then be updated when the property group is deleted. The property group will be deleted from all properties within the chain. 


Budgets Do Not Accept Negative Values

 

Users cannot add a negative budget value from Financials > Budgets.



Tourist Tax Added As A Separate Line Item On Group Confirmation Letter

 

From Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > Group Confirmation > Confirmation Email > BODY, we’ve added a Show Tourist Tax As Separate Item checkbox, which, when selected, will display the tourist tax as a separate line item on the print/email version of the group confirmation letter. This will display under Tax Excluded as Tourist Tax.

 



 

Please note, the TOURIST TAX toggle must be enabled from Settings > Financials > Financial Settings for the Show Tourist Tax As Separate Item checkbox to appear for selection. If TOURIST TAX is not enabled for the hotel from Settings > Financials > Financial Settings, the Show Tourist Tax As Separate Item checkbox will not appear within Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > Group Confirmation > Confirmation Email > BODY.


 

For hotels that have enabled TOURIST TAX from Settings > Financials > Financial Settings but do not wish to show it as a separate line item on the group confirmation letter, leaving the Show Tourist Tax As Separate Item unselected will bundle tourist tax under Tax Excluded.

 

The Tourist Tax label can be translated if required. Please note, this translation is set for all hotels using Stayntouch PMS and cannot be changed on an individual level.

Auto Deposit Collection: Additional Schedules

 

We’ve updated the Auto Charge section from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Settings & Parameters > Auto Charge. The existing AUTO CHARGE button has been updated to read COLLECT DEPOSIT AUTOMATICALLY AT EOD, and we’ve added two ALSO, COLLECT DEPOSIT AT hourly time selection options. The End of Day routine will remain as is. Once auto collection is run, and the reservation pays the deposit, the reservation will be flagged, so it does not go through the same process during End of Day—unless the first round failed or the deposit request was not honored. 

 

Setting multiple times for deposit collection is beneficial for the deposit collection scheduled for the day of arrival. Now, the reservations can be secured earlier in the day for the collection times set. 



These additional deposit collection processes will be recorded in the Activity Log for the reservation.


Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Display Balance Due At Check-In

 

For reservations that require a deposit upon check-in, the PMS will display the entire balance due for the guest entity during the Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in flow. Charges that are routed to a company or travel agent, another room, an account, or A/R will not be displayed.


Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Display Balance Due At Check-In

 

For reservations that require a deposit upon check-in, the PMS will display the entire balance due for the guest entity during the Stayntouch Guest Mobility check-in flow. Charges that are routed to a company or travel agent, another room, an account, or A/R will not be displayed.


Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Add-Ons Purchased During Check-In Included In Authorization

 

Add-ons purchased during Stayntouch Guest Kiosk check-in are now included in the total balance due. The authorization amount will remain for the guest to pay in addition to the configured authorization rules. Add-ons purchased should be fully paid for as part of deposit payment.




Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Prompt For Additional Guest Information During Check-In When There Is More Than One Guest

 

When a reservation has more than one guest, Stayntouch Guest Kiosk will now prompt for additional guest information during check-in. The guest can bypass this if desired.

Updates to Integrations Menu

 

We’ve reorganized the Settings > Integrations menu to remove unnecessary items, add new labels, and move items under the correct labels. 


 

The updates are explained below:

  • Interface Logs menu item has been removed.
  • Snapshot menu item has been removed.
  • We’ve added a new menu item called Utilities.
    • We’ve moved the EMV Terminals menu item under Utilities.
    • We’ve moved the External Mappings menu item under Utilities.
    • We’ve moved the Workstations menu item under Utilities.
    • We’ve moved the Rover Connect ID Lookup menu item under Utilities.
    • We’ve moved the Monitor Screen menu item under Utilities and renamed it Active Integrations




  • External PMS Web Services (OWS Overlay) menu item has been moved to Utilities and is visible only for Stayntouch PMS Overlay hotels..
  • We’ve added the following new menu items under Settings > Integrations:
    • Internet Booking Engine

Market Segment Data From Stayntouch PMS Can Be Received & Utilized By TravelClick

 

Stayntouch PMS now sends market segment data to TravelClick via the integration, which can then be utilized by TravelClick.

Comtrol: Auto Mapping For Rooms

 

Hotels with a Comtrol integration can now auto map room numbers for the Comtrol integration. This feature allows users to complete auto mapping for external room and external extension. On the ROOM MAPPINGS tab, you’ll now notice an AUTOMAP ROOMS button, and one a user clicks the button, they will be prompted to add an EXTERNAL ROOM PREFIX and an EXTERNAL EXTENSION PREFIX. Once that information is entered, the user can then click SAVE CHANGES or CANCEL





Upon clicking SAVE CHANGES, the user will receive the following confirmation message: “Warning! You are about to initiate Auto Mapping of the rooms. This will set the Access Level to 0=All allowed. Do you want to continue?” If the user clicks CONTINUE, the list of rooms will be refreshed at the bottom of the screen.




By default, the following will apply:

  • External room will be equal to the room number if not prefix is set
  • External extension will be equal to the room number if no prefix is set
  • Station access level will be set as set as 0=All allowed

Rooms Sold & Non Group Rooms On The Availability Screen

 

In response to Product feedback, on the Availability screen, ROOMS SOLD are now the sum of non-group rooms and group/allotment rooms, including component rooms. Furthermore, NON GROUP ROOMS on the Availability screen are the same as the count of individual rooms on the Business on the Books Report. 




 

MULTI-PROPERTY FUNCTIONALITY

Multi-Property: Multi-Currency Display on Availability Screen

 

If there are multiple hotels that function with different currencies within a single chain or property group, the appropriate currency will be reflected for the BAR for each hotel shown on the Availability screen.


Property Groups Display In Availability Dropdown If They Have At Least One User Subscribed Hotel

 

Property groups will be displayed on the Availability screen hotel/property group dropdown if the property group has at least one hotel with at least one user subscribed. 



 

Please note, Multi-Property Availability must be enabled for the chain in order for the hotel/property group dropdown to display on the Availability screen. Please contact Customer Support to have this functionality enabled for your chain.
