Reasons for Credit Card Authorization Release

There are three scenarios where a credit card authorization will be automatically released as a standard:

1. Once you check a guest out (whether you use the authorized card or not).
2. When you use the authorization code (for full or partial amount).
3. When you change the method of payment on the stay card. The authorization on the old credit card will be released, and the new credit card will automatically be authorized.
