PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Arrival Report Now Exportable by CSV


The Arrival Report can now be exported by CSV from Reports > Reports Inbox. To generate the report, navigate to Reports > New Report > Arrival Report.






Furthermore, the Arrival Report can also be scheduled to export to CSV from Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports > + NEW REPORT SCHEDULE > Arrival Report. You’ll see the option to select a FILE FORMAT of CSV and the option to select INCLUDE CSV HEADER.



Allotment Reservation Extension in Room Diary


When an allotment reservation is extended from Front Desk > Room Diary, an availability check is performed. If there is availability in the allotment room block for the extension dates, the allotment reservation can be extended. This will extend the reservation and update the allotment room block accordingly by increasing the picked up count for the extension dates. 






If there is no availability in the allotment room block for the extension dates, the user will receive a message stating, “Extend Stay Failed! Reservation arrival/departure date should be within the allotment from/end date.”

Stay Card Room Assignment/Room Type Sequence


In Settings > Rooms > Room Types, a sequence number is assigned to each room type. The sequence is assigned to the room type according to the display on the screen in Settings > Rooms > Room Types and can be changed by dragging and dropping room types to a different position in Settings > Rooms > Room Types. This sequence is used throughout the system to display room types in the order of the room type sequence.



From the stay card Room Assignment screen, the room type dropdown now lists the room types according to the room type sequence.




Groups/Allotment Room Type Sequence


In Settings > Rooms > Room Types, a sequence number is assigned to each room type. The sequence is assigned to the room type according to the display on the screen in Settings > Rooms > Room Types and can be changed by dragging and dropping room types to a different position in Settings > Rooms > Room Types. This sequence is used throughout the system to display room types in the order of the room type sequence.



In the groups and allotments modules, the room type sequence has now been applied, and the room types are displayed in the order of the sequence. This applies to the following areas:

  • Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group > Room Block Details Tab > ROOMS View



  • Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group > Room Block Details Tab > RATES View



  • Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group > Rooming List Tab > + (Pick Up Room) > ROOM TYPE Dropdown





  • Groups > Manage Allotment > Select Allotment > Allotment Details Tab



  • Groups > Manage Allotment > Select Allotment > Reservations Tab > + (Pick Up Rooms) > ROOM TYPE Dropdown




Financial Setting: Tax Per Line Item


To comply with legal requirements in certain countries, we’ve introduced a TAX PER LINE ITEM setting that can be toggled ON/OFF from Financials > Financial Settings. This will present tax on each individual revenue line item on the following invoices generated by the PMS:

  • Guest Invoice

  • Copy of Guest Invoice

  • Company/Travel Agent Invoice 

  • Copy of Company/Travel Agent Invoice

  • Account Invoice

  • Copy of Account Invoice

  • Group ProForma Invoice

  • Individual ProForma Invoice


Tax will also display on each individual revenue line item for invoices generated for direct bill settlement. Payments are excluded from the display.



The following columns will appear on the invoices mentioned above when the TAX PER LINE ITEM setting is enabled. The column headings can be translated, as well. To set up translations, please contact Customer Support.

  • Date of Charge

  • Quantity

  • Charge Description

  • Unit Net

  • Net

  • Amount/Percentage

  • Tax

  • Total




Note:

  • Tax per line item and multi currency settings should not be activated for the same property. When using multi currency, only standard invoice templates should be used. The tax per line item setting must be disabled. 

  • The tax per line item changes for front office invoices will only apply to the Detailed Bill, Detailed Bill – Items, and ProForma Invoice

  • Summary by charge code and summary by day are excluded from the tax per line item display.


Deposit Rule Details Display on the Deposit/Balance Screen


Deposit rule description now displays on the DEPOSIT/BALANCE screen, which can be accessed by clicking the DEPOSIT/BALANCE button on the stay card. Essentially, we added the deposit rule description to this screen. This screen used to show only the amount, but it now displays the rule name so that the users can be sure which rule applies to the deposit request.
