How to Create a Multiple Room Reservation

Creating a multiple room reservation in Stayntouch Cloud PMS is very similar to creating a reservation for one room. To create a multiple room reservation, start by creating a reservation from either the Dashboard > +NEW or Front Desk > Create Reservation. From the Reservations screen, enter the reservation details, and where it prompts you to select a number of ROOMS, indicate the number of rooms for the reservation. When you've entered all the necessary details, select FIND ROOMS & RATES to proceed.

You'll then be directed to the Rooms & Rates screen, where you can view available rates and room counts. Select a rate and room type combination as desired. Then from the Enhance Stay screen, you can select any add-ons to attach to the reservation. Once you select one or multiple add-ons, or if you wish to skip this step, simply select the green BOOK button. 

If you didn't enter guest details on the Reservations screen, you'll be prompted to do so now. Upon entering the guest details, if a guest exists with that name, you can either choose the existing guest or add a new guest. 

Note that if you're creating a multiple room reservation on a rate that has a deposit policy, Stayntouch Cloud PMS will prompt you to take the full deposit at this time and split it accordingly between the reservations.

From the Guest Details & Payment screen, on the the left hand side, you'll see both confirmation numbers, and on the right hand side, you can add a payment method for these reservations. If you then select CONTINUE, you can now CONFIRM RESERVATION and GO TO STAY CARD

From the stay card, you'll see both confirmation numbers for this guest.

To change the name on the second reservation, select the confirmation number for the second reservation and navigate to the guest card by dragging down the gray tab at the top center of the screen. From the guest card, click the red DETACH CARD button and select YES when prompted to "Confirm removal of current guest card from stay card?" 

You can then enter the new guest details and either select from an existing guest card or create a new guest card if required. When selecting the new guest card, you will be prompted to CHANGE THIS RESERVATION ONLY or CHANGE ALL RESERVATIONS associated with the original guest that booked the reservation. In this case, it is only this reservation that we want to update.

If you then navigate to Dashboard > ARRIVALS, you'll see the two reservations under different names.
