How to Find Rates

To find rates in Stayntouch PMS, first proceed with reservation creation as normal. From the reservation creation screen, enter the necessary information, and then proceed to FIND ROOMS & RATES. You will then be directed to the Rooms & Rates screen, and in this property, you will automatically be shown the RATE tab. The tab to which users are directed can be configured by following the steps in this article. Here, you will see a list of available rates, which you can expand by clicking the dropdown chevron arrows to the left of the rate. This will allow you to view by room type as well as additional details, such as information about the rate, deposit and cancellation policies, and the total amount for the stay.

Some properties will default to the ROOM TYPE tab, where you will see a list of available room types, which you can expand by clicking the dropdown chevron arrows to the left of the room type. This will allow you to view by rate as well as additional details, such as information about the rate, deposit and cancellation policies, and the total amount for the stay.

Next, the RECOMMENDED tab will show any group or corporate rates that are available for any entities that are selected.

If you move back to the reservation creation screen, you can go ahead and enter a specific corporate entity to see if you have any available rates for the particular company. Click FIND ROOMS & RATES to view availability for the company. In this case, there is a corporate rate for this company, and you can expand it out to view room type availability.

It is also possible to book an irregular rate for a company by toggling over to the RATE tab and viewing regular rate availability. This can also be useful for comparing rates.

Similar to corporate rates, if you go back to the reservation screen and enter a group entity, you can check for available rates for the particular group. As long as the group dates match the reservation dates selected, you'll see the group appear as an option to select.

If you're unsure of the group dates, you can find this by clicking into the Availability screen and selecting Groups in the top left dropdown menu, and you'll see the dates for which the group is blocked.

It's important to note that you'll only find group availability in the rate query screen if you have the correct dates selected. If you select a date where the group is not booked, the group will not be returned as an option.

Once you select a group, any available rates will display on the Rooms & Rates screen, and you can expand it out to view room type availability.

There's also a Show Restrictions checkbox to show any rates that are restricted.
