How to Make a Manual Payment

To make a manual payment in Stayntouch PMS, first create a payment method via Settings > Financials > Payment Methods, as a payment method needs to be linked to a charge code (see the next step). You'll then need to add charge codes for manual payments from Settings > Financials > Charge Codes.

You will then be able to select those manual payment types when making a payment from the Guest Bill.

If you prefer to not have manual payments display on the dropdown menu, you turn OFF ALLOW MANUAL POSTINGS from Settings > Financials > Charge Codes > Select Charge Code. You can then turn ON this setting in the event you need to make a manual payment.
