Room Key Delivery Setup
To set up room key delivery emails, first navigate to Settings > Rooms > Room Key Delivery. From here, choose the desired Stayntouch PMS, Stayntouch Guest Mobility, and Stayntouch Guest Kiosk room key delivery settings.
Guest Mobility Check-Ins: Key Delivery Options for Stayntouch Guest Mobility Check-Ins
- Deliver QR Code for Room Key via Email: If your hotel is using a QR scanner, select this option to deliver QR code for room key details via email.
- Deliver Message to Guest to Pick Up Key from Front Desk: Select this option to input specific customized text on how to collect room keys via email.
- NOTE: If you have Dynamic Email Templates configured from Settings > Guest Mobility > Dynamic Email Templates, you do not need to enter text in the Deliver Message to Guest to Pick Up Key from Front Desk field, as the text you entered in Settings > Guest Mobility > Dynamic Email Templates > Text - Key Delivery Email will be used instead.
- No Key Delivery: Select this option if you do not want a room key delivered and to instead have guests pick up keys at the front desk.
- Offer Option to Use Mobile Phone Key: Select this option to use mobile phone keys. This option will include additional information about how to download the mobile phone key.
- Show PIN in Room Ready Email: If you have a door lock integration that supports PIN codes, select this option to include PIN code on the room key delivery email.

- Deliver QR Code for Room Key via Email: If your hotel is using a QR scanner, select this option to deliver QR code for room key details via email.
- Make Key from RFID Reader at Tablet: If your hotel is using an RFID key encoder, select this option to generate a key using an RFID encoder.
- Show QR Code for Room Key on Tablet: Select this option if your hotel is using a tablet, and you want the QR code displayed on the tablet. This will allow you to scan the tablet on the QR scanner.
- Deliver PIN Code for Room Key via Email: If you have a door lock integration that supports PIN codes, select this option to include PIN code on the room key delivery email.
- No Key Delivery: Select this option if you do not want a room key delivered and to instead have guests pick up keys at the front desk.
Station Check-Ins: Key Delivery Options for Stayntouch Guest Kiosk Check-Ins
- Do Not Offer Mobile Phone Key: Select this option if you do not want to offer a mobile phone key.
- Offer Mobile Phone Key - Guest Mobility: This option is not applicable.
- Offer Mobile Phone Key - 3rd Party: Select this option if you're offering mobile phone key through a 3rd party.
- Deliver PIN Code for Room Key via Email: Select this option to deliver the PIN code for room key via email.
Enable QR Code Encryption: Choose to ACTIVATE/INACTIVATE QR code encryption.
ROOM KEY DELIVERY EMAIL SETUP FOR STAYNTOUCH GUEST MOBILITY
You can then navigate to Settings > Guest Mobility > Dynamic Email Templates and select Key Delivery Common and/or Text - Key Delivery Email to customize the text for these emails. Once you have set these up as desired, click the PREVIEW button to see view your changes before saving.
