Two-Digit Decimal Rounding for Guest Bill, Account, and Group Transactions
We no longer round up charges recorded in the Transactions tabs for the Stay Card > Bill & Charges > Guest Bill, Front Desk > Accounts > Select Account, and Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group screens, and instead we now apply two-digit decimal rounding to the transactions recorded here.

Currency Conversion Rate Displays Under Journal Description Field
We now display currency conversion details under Financials > Journal > REVENUE/PAYMENTS > Dropdown for CHARGE GROUP/PAYMENT TYPE > DETAILS as long as your property has multiple currencies and currency conversion enabled by toggling on ENABLE MULTIPLE CURRENCIES from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Settings & Parameters > Multi Currency.
This applies to printed versions, as well.
A/R Folio Label Added to Stationery
We’ve added fields for A/R INVOICE NUMBER LABEL and A/R FOLIO NUMBER LABEL to Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Invoices > General Invoice Settings. Labels entered in these fields will be applied to invoices, information invoices, ProForma invoices, A/R invoices, and deposit invoices.
Display Name Field Added to Hotel Details
In Settings > Hotel & Staff > Hotel Details > EMAIL DOMAIN AND FROM ADDRESS FOR GUESTS, you can now include a sender display name to appear alongside the email address on confirmation emails sent to guests. Simply enter the display name and email address in the following format in the EMAIL DOMAIN AND FROM ADDRESS FOR GUESTS field: name<email@address.com>
As an example, the “from address” will appear as per below:
From: Stayntouch Hotel Reservations <reservations@stayntouch.com>
Updates to Confirmation Email
We’ve made updates to confirmation email settings in Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > Guest Confirmation > Confirmation Email. The first addition includes the option to select a checkbox to Display Arrival/Departure Time. By default, this option will be unselected.
We’ve also made cosmetic changes to the confirmation email display, which include the following:
Arrival Date/Time: This will reflect the setup in Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > Guest Confirmation > Confirmation Email and only display arrival time when selected. If no time is selected, the confirmation email will only display the arrival date.
Departure Date/Time: This will reflect the setup in Settings > Hotel & Staff > Stationery > Confirmations/Cancellations > Guest Confirmation > Confirmation Email and only display departure time when selected. If no time is selected, the confirmation email will only display the departure date.
Months will now display in sentence case instead of all caps (i.e., Jan, Feb, Mar, etc. instead of JAN, FEB, MAR, etc.).
Inclusions will now display in sentence case instead of all caps (i.e., Incl instead of INCL).
Adults/Children: These will be displayed on two separate lines.
Average Daily Cost has been renamed to Daily Cost. Stayntouch PMS will fit all text into one line.
Categorized View for Stayntouch Guest Mobility Translations
We’ve introduced a new CATEGORIZED VIEW in Settings > Guest Mobility > Translations that supports Stayntouch Guest Mobility workflows with a combination of each screen. This is intended to make Stayntouch Guest Mobility translations more user-friendly and visible, so that hotels can easily handle Stayntouch Guest Mobility translations with little or no guidance.
Stayntouch Guest Kiosk: Balance Due Added to the Top of the Screen
We’ve added BALANCE DUE for Stayntouch Guest Kiosk to the top of the screen, so that guests can immediately see the open balance during check-in and check-out via Stayntouch Guest Kiosk. BALANCE DUE will also remain displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Stayntouch Guest Mobility: Pull Balance Amount for Guest Entity
You can now pull the balance due by guest entity via Stayntouch Guest Mobility—not just Bill #1 only. Stayntouch PMS will now display all bills for the guest entity. Please note, bills with an active routing set up under a Company/Travel Agent on a reservation will not display, as they are not considered guest-facing bills.
Aila Tech: SDK Update for iOS 14.2
Aila Tech has released a new version 1.9.12 of their SDK, which is certified for use with iOS/iPadOS 14.2 on all Aila Tech kiosks and mobile products. They have isolated a bug introduced in Apple’s iOS/iPadOS 14.2 and have developed a fix with this release.
Customers running the hardware listed below are advised to upgrade their SDK to version 1.9.12 before or as they begin upgrading to iOS/iPadOS 14.2.
