How to Perform a Mass Cancellation for a Group


To perform as mass cancellation for a group in Stayntouch PMS, navigate to Groups > Manage Groups > Select Group > Summary and change the HOLD STATUS to Cancel. This will cancel all pending reservations.




If the Cancel option does not populate in the HOLD STATUS dropdown menu, navigate to the Transactions tab. 



If there is a TOTAL BALANCE remaining, you will need to move the charges to an account/guest. To do so, select the checkbox to the right of the charge(s), then select the orange move charges button above the charge(s).




At this point, a MOVE CHARGE(S) window will appear, and you can enter either a ROOM / ACCOUNT NO. or a GUEST / ACCOUNT NAME to which you'd like to move the charges. Upon selecting an account/guest, choose the green MOVE button.





You will then notice that the TOTAL BALANCE is now 0.00.



Upon navigating back to the Summary tab, you will be able to change the HOLD STATUS to Cancel.
