How to Enable Direct URL for Stayntouch Guest Mobility
To enable check-in by direct URL, navigate to Settings > Guest Mobility > Direct URL. If you set up a direct URL, you can embed the URL in your website, confirmation letter, or as part of other materials. If you go to the URL, you'll be able to complete the same Stayntouch Guest Mobility check-in process as you would via email, but using a URL instead (see screenshot below).
Once you've navigated to Settings > Guest Mobility > Direct URL, under the Availability to Guests section, you can turn ON the following toggles:
- CHECK-IN BY DIRECT URL FROM GUEST SETUP: This enables check-in by direct URL.
- INCLUDE DAY BEFORE ARRIVAL: This will allow guests to complete pre-check-in on the day before arrival.
If you have a SERVICE IS OFF – WEB message for guests for when service is down, you can enter that in the corresponding field, as well.
Furthermore, you can create a new direct URL by selecting +ADD NEW from the DIRECT URLS section. Simply enter a NAME for the URL (e.g., Mobile Check-In), turn the STATUS toggle ON to activate the URL, and then enter text in the WEB CHECK-IN URL field. We recommend either entering your property code or property name here.
Once you've created this new URL, you can turn ON/OFF the ACTIVE toggle as desired depending on whether you'd like the URL to be active or not.
You can also configure a WEB CHECK-OUT URL from Settings > Guest Mobility > Check Out. In this field, we recommend entering your property code or property name. You can then use this link to complete check-outs.
