PRODUCT ENHANCEMENTS

Taxes: Posting Accounts Now Consider Date Range Tax Parameter


If a tax charge code has a new date range parameter associated with it, when the charge code is posted, it will check the date range rule as well as the current business date and post the amount with the correct tax for that date range. 





Example:

  • A posting account is opened for 4 months (January 1 to April 30)

  • During the month of February, a tax change occurs, changing the tax from 7% to 10%

  • The date range rule is added to the tax charge code

  • From the posting account, you will notice the following:

    • In January, March, and April, any charge code posted has the 7% tax breakdown

    • In February, any charge code posted has the 10% tax breakdown

Add-Ons Now Update When Changing Rates on Groups


Stayntouch PMS now updates add-ons when a group rate is changed or existing rates are updated. If during the update of an existing reservation, item inventory for the add-on is exceeded, the following popup window will display:


A/R Aging Report Added to Scheduled Reports


We added the A/R Aging Report to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports. The report is available in CSV format.


Complimentary Room Report Added to Scheduled Reports


We added the Complimentary Room Report to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports. The report is available in CSV format.


Stayntouch Guest Mobility Language Translations: Pilot Release Only


We now show Stayntouch Guest Mobility translations configured through the JSON file in Settings > Guest Mobility > Translations to hotel guests. This applies to check-in and check-out screens. Please note this in pilot release only. We will make an announcement when available to all properties.


Check-In


The home screen now displays in the default display language for Stayntouch Guest Mobility. From this screen, guests can change the pre-selected language. The selected language will display all text/labels from the configured JSON file in Settings > Guest Mobility > Translations for the related check-in message.





Check-Out


The home screen now displays in the default display language for Stayntouch Guest Mobility. From this screen, guests can change the pre-selected language. The selected language will display all text/labels from the configured JSON file in Settings > Guest Mobility > Translations for the related check-out message




COUNTRY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Germany: GoBD Admin Charge Code Actions Export


We’ve added the GoBD Admin Charge Code Actions Export to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Exports. The export is available in CSV format.


This export will record all the below admin charge code actions: 

  1. Update/edit charge code actions 

  2. Create charge code action 

  3. Delete charge code action
