Client Cloud Storage


We have expanded existing cloud storage currently used for archiving to allow you to manage your data outside of Stayntouch PMS securely. 


You can configure this cloud storage from Settings > Cards > File Attachments. From here, you can activate a toggle to link the desired CLOUD DRIVE TYPE and CLOUD DRIVE.



Once you’ve selected a CLOUD DRIVE TYPE and CLOUD DRIVE, you can select any of the following Card Types:

  • Stay Card

  • Guest Card

  • Groups

  • Allotments

  • Company/TA Card


If you have the Cloud Storage - View, Cloud Storage - Upload, Cloud Storage - Download, and Cloud Storage - Delete permissions assigned from Settings > Hotel & Staff > Permissions, you will be able to view, add, edit, delete, download, and replace attachments.


Once these settings are configured and the appropriate permissions are assigned, when you navigate to the Stay Card, you will be able to add attachments from Notes > FILES > + ADD NEW or Drop Files to Upload


Please note, if you need to view embedded files, you have to be signed into a browser with a Google account that has access to view these files. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the files. You can, however, still download and view files if you have the above permissions assigned.







You can also group files by FILE TYPE or UNGROUPED, sort by FIRST ADDED or LAST ADDED, or use the search bar to search a specific file.





If you then select files, you’ll see the option to DOWNLOAD SELECTED, DELETE SELECTED, or CANCEL SELECTION.



We’ve also added a Files & Notes tab when you select the dropdown bar from the Stay Card. This will allow you to add notes and view guest files.





This tab also allows you to group files by FILE TYPE or UNGROUPED, sort by FIRST ADDED or LAST ADDED, or use the search bar to search a specific file.



This tab is also available in the Guest Card, Groups, Allotments, and Company/TA Card sections.


Please note, we recommend adding a Google account linked to your property rather than a staff member’s account. We currently do not support an automatic transfer of files from one Google account to another, and if the staff member leaves and someone changes the Google account in Hotel Admin, the files added from the old Google account will be unavailable.

Housekeeping Return Status Added to OOO/OOS Screens


When setting a room Out of Order/Out of Service, you can now select a ROOM RETURN STATUS from a dropdown menu containing your hotel’s configured housekeeping statuses. Once the room is no longer Out of Order/Out of Service, the room status of the room will be set according to the housekeeping return status.


When setting the room back in service manually, the room will also be set to the selected housekeeping return status at that time.


The ROOM RETURN STATUS dropdown menu is accessible from the following screens:

  • Housekeeping > Room Status > View Room Details > ROOM Tab > SERVICE STATUS > Select Out of Order or Out of Service



  • Housekeeping > Room Status > Multiselect > Purple Pencil Icon > SERVICE STATUS > Select Out of Order or Out of Service




  • Front Desk > Room Diary > Select Room Number > SERVICE STATUS > Select Out of Order or Out of Service


Set Room & Service Status from the Room Diary


You can now set ROOM STATUS and SERVICE STATUS directly from the Room Diary without having to navigate away from the Room Diary simply by clicking on the room number from the Room Diary. This will prompt a popup window where you can update the ROOM STATUS and SERVICE STATUS.




If you choose to update ROOM STATUS, you can select from Clean, Dirty, Inspected, Picked Up, Do Not Disturb, etc.


If you choose to update SERVICE STATUS, you can select from Out of Order or Out of Service, or you can place the room back In Service.

Currency Symbol Removed from CSV Exports 


We’ve removed currency symbols from CSV exports for the Business on the Books Report, Daily Production by Room Type Report, Daily Production by Rate Report, and the Forecast Report to allow for easier spreadsheet operations/formulas.

Add-On Forecast Report Added to Scheduled Reports


We added the Add-On Forecast Report to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports. The report is available in CSV format.


Forecast Guests & Groups Report Added to Scheduled Reports


We added the Forecast Guests & Groups Report to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Reports. The report is available in CSV format.


Ad Notum – Rate of the Day Export Added to Scheduled Exports


We added the Ad Notum – Rate of the Day Export to Reports > Schedule a Report/Export > Scheduled Exports. The report is available in CSV format.
