How to Prevent Workstations from Defaulting to the Same Name

If all workstations default to the same EMV device, when you log into Stayntouch PMS with Developer tools open, under "set_workstation" you'll observe all workstations use the same name.

To resolve this issue, log into Hotel Admin, select the appropriate hotel, scroll down to the bottom right of the page and find the section Enable Desktop Swipe and remove the last forward slash (/) in the URL wss://localhost.stayntouch.com/ so it reads: wss://localhost.stayntouch.com.

You can then log back into Stayntouch PMS on each workstation as a Hotel Admin user, and you will be prompted to create a workstation for each computer/iPad, and thus successfully assign each an EMV device.
