How to Translate Stayntouch Guest Kiosk Labels

 

In Stayntouch Guest Kiosk, the labels for various fields, buttons, and messages can be translated into different languages. However, the translation does not happen automatically, but has to be completed manually for each label. Below, we explain how to manually translate these labels into different languages. Please note, you need to be a Hotel Admin and have the appropriate permissions to complete these changes. 


From Settings > Station, select Languages.



Select the appropriate language.



Scroll down, and on the right, you will see a LANGUAGE FILE field. To the right of this, you will notice a pencil icon. Select that, and it will open the translation page.



This is the translation page where you can complete translations for any of the labels. This is applicable only to your hotel. If you have multiple hotels using Stayntouch PMS, and the same labels apply, make sure to save this file and upload it to the other properties.



You can also search for labels in the search field. Once you complete the translations, select ACCEPT CHANGES to save. That will take you back to the language page. Click SAVE CHANGES.



To download this file to use at other properties, click the purple download button to the left of the purple pencil icon (see screenshot below).



You will then be able to save the language file as a .json file on your desktop.
