Rules for Configuring Rate Restrictions

When you set restrictions on a base rate, it doesn't affect any dependent rate; therefore, you need to manage dependent rate restrictions independently. 

If a restriction is applied on the rate code directly (e.g., a minimum length of stay [MinLOS]), you will not be able to change these via the Rate Manager. You will need to change these restrictions from the rate itself in Settings > Rates > Rates > Select desired rate. From there, you can edit the MinLOS for the rate or remove the restriction on the rate code if you prefer to manage it via the Rate Manager. 

Once you've done that, go ahead and sync the rate with your CRS to ensure they receive the updated details.

Please note, we highly recommend making adjustments (whether rate or restriction) from the Rate Manager only to keep everything in one place.
