How to Move an In-House Guest to a Different Room Type
Step 1: Click on the Room Number field that also shows the room type.
Step 2: In the next screen, change the room type, which will then list all rooms available for the new room type.
Step 3: Select the room to which you want to move the guest.
Step 4: It will prompt you with the new updated rate. Confirm this, and the guest will be moved to the new room type.
Please note, to move an in-house guest, navigate to Settings > Hotel & Staff > Permissions, select the user role you wish to update, and assign the following related permissions by moving the permissions from Not Assigned Permissions to Assigned Permissions:
- Move Room
- Do Not Move Reservation
- Move Room Without Charge
