Mapping M3 Accounting Interface to Show All Captured Tax Exempt Room Revenue

To map to your M3 accounting interface to show all tax exempt room revenue captured, follow the steps below:

To see the mapping view, navigate to Settings > Interfaces > Back Office > M3 Back Office Export.

If you want the tax exempt room charge to display as a separate line item in M3, you need to create a new charge code (e.g., Room Charge - Tax Exempt).

CREATE A NEW CHARGE CODE

To create a new charge code, navigate to Settings > Financials > Charge Codes > Add New.

Note: Do not add any items in the tax area unless you want them to be charged. You can view and compare new charge codes to your main room charge code. Take note of the new charge code you create.

The new charge code will now be part of the room charge with a separate line item.
