StayNTouch Cloud PMS Interface Logs for Vertical Booking
If a hotel's rate updates on StayNTouch Cloud PMS are rejected by Vertical Booking, you can view the StayNTouch Cloud PMS interface logs to determine cause of rejection and then address the same. The below example details how to navigate to interface logs for Vertical Booking to receive a cause for rejection.
To view interface logs for Vertical Booking, go to Settings > Integrations > Interface Logs > Select Interface > Vertical Booking. This will direct you to the interface monitor screen, and once you have pushed a rate update, enter the corresponding date and time to retrieve the XML code. If Vertical Booking has rejected any of your rates in StayNTouch Cloud PMS, this will indicate why, and from there, your rates can be corrected from the Vertical Booking end.
To search for a specific error, enter the range and search by the text string OTA_HotelRateAmountNotifRQ.
Once the results are returned, select "Download Entire Message" to view the response from Vertical Booking, which will indicate why Vertical Booking rejected the rate. From there, see the attached request and response, which will again state the mismatch in rate code and the cause for rejection by Vertical Booking.
