Add a Stop Selling Date & Start Selling Date to Rate Code Configuration

Stayntouch PMS currently has an "end date" field for rate codes. We would like to see a "start selling on" and "stop selling on" date option too.


  • This would be used for limited time promotional/flash sale rates that have a booking stay date range that is different than / exceeds the date that the hotel wishes to stop selling the rate code for new reservations.
  • This also would allow revenue managers to create the rate code in advance but not have it be bookable until the marketing campaign begins.


For example:

Flash Sale Rate


  • Bookable for stays between March 1 and September 30
  • Marketing campaign (and rate selling dates) are February 26-28 only

This logic should carry over to how the rate code is bookable on the Stayntouch IBE. Hoteliers are used to being able to set this manually on their IBE provider's portal.

A stop selling date is a higher priority for us than a start selling date.

This was requested by Linchris for Hotel 1620 Plymouth Harbor, Crowne Pointe, and Brass Key.

Zephyr Hotel would like this feature as well.  They use flash sales very frequently.
