agreed - or use a third status "out of inventory" (and set the date where you set the rooms out of order/service)

Great news! We are piloting the new Out of Inventory feature as of v5.78 which has now been released. If you wish to inquire about possibly joining the pilot, please open a support ticket and our team will evaluate. It is expected to be available for general release shortly. It will not be enabled by default - you will have to open a support ticket to have this feature turned on for your property.

When launching a property, or even expanding one, we build the units ahead of time in order to sell in the future.
However, in doing this, specifically for a property expansion, you set the units to OOO for their pre-sale dates. But this then has the system register units as live in the system and the unadjusted occupancy is then decreased due to the additional units showing in the property inventory. This then alters reporting for occupancy.
Has there been any thought to enabling a date in the individual rooms, for when they will actually be accounted for or show up in the room diary?
