Coda Williamsburg would also like to see this enhancement - it would help them with tracking their retail sales/inventory.

While item descriptions are still not available in the custom exports, we do have a new Item Sales report that should help meet the needs that hotels were hoping to achieve with this requested functionality to track item sales. In the Custom Export using the Financial Dataspace, Item description is not getting printed. Only the main charge code description prints. In the Guest Bill, both charge code description and item description prints. It would be nice to get the item description as well in the custom export.
