Assign Multi-Property Users A Default Property Group

You can assign a DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP to a Multi-Property user from Settings > Hotel & Staff > User Setup > ALL USERS. The DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP field will not be mandatory at time of user creation, and if left unselected, it will be left blank until one is selected. For existing users, a DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP will not automatically be applied to the user—it will be left blank until a property group is selected.

Please note, the property groups displayed in the DEFAULT PROPERTY GROUP field will display in order of creation.

Please also review your desired property groupings. Each hotel may be part of one or multiple property groups. Examples of property groups may include geographical location, type of hotel, or Sales Manager territory. To create a property group, sign into the PMS as a Chain Admin user and navigate to Settings > Chain > Property Groups > + ADD NEW. You’ll then need to name the property group and select which hotels should be included in the chain. Click SAVE to create the new property group. 

You can edit or delete existing property groups here, as well, by clicking into a property group.
