Enable Room Status Update at Check-Out
During check-out with Rover Front Office, a prompt can be added to the check-out sequence that allows the front desk agent to immediately update the room's status to either Not Ready or Ready once check-out is complete. The prompt will default to a Not Ready status, but users can toggle to a Ready status if necessary.
If this setting is OFF, the room status will automatically be updated with a Dirty status upon check-out. As per usual, a room's Ready/Not Ready status is manageable from the Housekeeping > Room Status page.
Enable Update Room Status Setting
Hotel admin can enable this setting by following the steps below:
- Locate this setting from the Sidebar Menu > Settings > Rooms > Housekeeping.
- Check the box beside Enable Room Status Update at Check-out.
- Lastly, click Save Changes.
Example of Room Status Prompt
When a room is checked out, the status of the room automatically changes to Dirty. After each check-out, the Enable Room Status Update at Check-out allows the front desk agent to update the room's status from Not Ready to Ready.
