Same day reservation that checks out in morning should make same room available to sell

Blue Horizon hotel has lot of rooms that checks in after audit and checks out in morning, which they have Housekeeping clean and would like to re-sell, but since the room was checked in and checked out same day, it does not release the inventory and hotel is not able to resell the room online.
Hotel is requesting if the room that is checked out same day could release room back to inventory.
