Ability to Create and Manage Actions for Non-Resident Guests (Without Reservation)

We would like to request an enhancement to allow actions to be created and managed for guests who do not have a reservation in the system.

Currently, actions can only be attached to a reservation or group block. This creates a limitation when handling non-resident guests, such as:

  • External breakfast guests 
  • Meeting room visitors 
  • Day-use facilities (e.g. use of wellness by non-resident guests) 
  • Other non-staying services

In these cases, we can create a guest profile, but:

  • It is not possible to assign an action to this profile 
  • The guest cannot be selected in the Actions Manager 
  • We are limited to adding notes, which do not provide follow-up tracking, deadlines, or completion status

This makes it difficult to operationally manage and follow up on these services in a structured way.

Requested improvement: We would like the ability to:

  • Create actions directly on a guest profile without requiring a reservation 
  • Select any guest profile in the Actions Manager 
  • Track, assign, and complete actions for non-resident guests in the same way as for in-house guests

Why this is important: Hotels increasingly handle services beyond overnight stays. Having proper action management for non-resident guests would:

  • Improve internal follow-up and communication between departments 
  • Ensure better service for external guests 
  • Reduce reliance on manual notes or workarounds 
  • Support broader operational workflows within STNT

Since actions and guest profiles already exist, this seems like a logical extension of current functionality and potentially a limited development effort with high operational impact.
