Thanks for sharing! Our product manager who worked on the recent enhancements to the IDeaS integration would like to know -
- Are you still using LRV (last room value)?
- The feature you turned off - can you share more about what it specifically is in IDeaS?
Hi there! Yes, we are still using LRV. There is a feature within IDeas that allows you to oversell selected room types to account for calculated and predicted wash from the past. This does not oversell the property but when functioning properly, oversells room types that can either be upgraded or washed to balance the house inventory. We were experiencing a situation where we had no way to display our true, physical property inventory accurately within SNT causing much confusion and contracting rooms that did not exist. Thanks!
With the recent integration between StayNTouch and IDeas, it has come to our attention that there is now way to display the true property inventory with oversell of component rooms enabled. Due to this issue we have had to remove the feature allowing us to oversell and maximize revenue via IDeas.
