With our previous system, Opera, we relied on a “Duplicate Reservations Report” that allowed our reservations team to quickly identify potential duplicate bookings made in error. This report listed all arrivals within a selected date range and flagged reservations with matching last names and overlapping stay dates.
When duplicates were identified, our team would proactively contact guests to confirm whether the bookings were intentional and if they were, we would gather additional guest details to ensure a smoother check-in experience. This process has helped us prevent dozens of booking errors over the course of the year.
At present, our only option is to use the Arrivals report in SnT, sorted by name. However, when reviewing this report it can exceed 200 pages and requires significant time to review as we typically look 30 days out.
Would it be possible to implement a report similar to the Duplicate Reservations Report from Opera? Alternatively, we would greatly appreciate any recommendations for more efficient ways to identify potential duplicate bookings within the system.
