Future Request – Automatically post cancellation fees without payment (similar to No Show)

We would like to request the possibility to automatically post cancellation fees to the reservation folio without requiring an immediate payment. When we cancel a reservation and need to charge cancellation fees, we would like these charges to:

- Be posted directly to the reservation folio

- Remain as an open balance

- Automatically transfer to the group master folio when the reservation is part of a group

- Or remain open so we can send an invoice to the guest afterwards

The desired functionality would be similar to how Stayntouch currently handles a No Show, where the room charge is automatically posted to the folio without an immediate payment being required.

At the moment, we often need to adjust this manually or process it through workarounds, which creates additional steps for the front office and increases the risk of errors.

This would significantly simplify the administrative handling and invoicing process for both individual guests and group reservations.
