Have you tried the Daily Production report? It is a history and forecast report by room type. This might meet your needs. :)

Unfortunately the Daily Production report doesn't include in house and departures.
Having daily arrivals, departures, and in-house by day, by room type helps our Housekeeping team to plan their schedules accordingly.

We request a Forecast Guests and Groups by Date Range Report by Room Type. This way we can see daily arrivals, departures, in-house, and occupancies by specific room types.
Our property has two different lodging products, so having this split would help.
