Guest Card vs Guest ID
Hi Dominik,
The "Guest Card" is the guest's profile overall which includes their contact information, preferences, stay history, notes, etc. The "Guest ID" refers to the passport / identification details.
Stayntouch does indeed offer functionality (at an additional cost) which would allow you to scan the ID into the PMS and collect some of the information that is on the ID (add it into the PMS and retain a copy of the photo); your property does not pay for that feature at this time. If you are interested in more information on that, please let us know.
At check-in, you should fill in the fields marked as required on the registration card. These are customizable and set in Settings > Cards > Guest Card Fields. Your property has quite a few fields marked as required to collect at check-in - they are indicated with the red box and asterisk.

Hope this helps!
Hello SnT team
can you please explain whats the difference between these two?
I was trying to find an answer but sorry,... i still dont know whats the big difference is.
If i do a check in and take a photo from the passport, i would still need to fill out all the blanks in the guest card.
or is it enough to fill out the guest id?
There is no automated recognition for the infos, is that correct?
Thank you, Dominik Sinwel
