Auto assigning guest rooms the day of their arrival

We recently integrated with Akia, and door codes are now automatically texted to incoming guests. Our guest service team assigns rooms in the morning, and once the rooms are inspected, guests are automatically checked in via StaynTouch.

The issue is that our guest service team leaves at 8 PM. Any guest who books after that time does not get assigned a room and therefore does not receive a door code or have access to check in via StaynTouch.

I see there’s an option to auto-assign for quicker room assignments, but that still requires a manual step. Ideally, we’d like guests to be automatically assigned a room on the day of their arrival without guest service having to manually initiate anything. Having this feature would allow us to provide a seamless guest experience and significantly increase our after-hours revenue.
