When a user selects the "X" (exit button) on any page in kiosk, please confirm that the user would like to exit the application prior to exiting the flow.
Example: an “Are you sure?” confirmation popup appears when the “X” button is pressed.
We’ve observed that many guests mistakenly interpret the “X” as a way to close a popup or go back a step. Unfortunately, pressing this button currently wipes all progress and resets the check-in flow, which can be especially frustrating when a guest is far along in the process.
Implementing a simple confirmation message like the example below would provide an extra layer of protection and clarity, reducing user errors and improving the overall guest experience.
