Cobblestone Hotels would like to see the ability assign a
specific cancellation and/or guarantee policy to a date(s) or event in addition
to a rate code. This way if there is a specific event happening, there is the
ability to apply a unique/different policy to that event while still making all
rate codes bookable.
For example, we have a hotel near Lambeau Field - during
home Packer games the property has a 30-day cancellation policy. Right now,
they close out all of their rate codes for game day and have a special 'EVENT'
rate code that is the only rate that can be booked. However, they would like to
have their discounted rates like AAA/AARP or Rewards Member rate bookable but
follow the 30-day cancellation policy during the home game.
