Only show open accounts when searching to move a charge

First Hotel Millennium has following feature request:
When you want to move a charge to another account, and search by name, closed accounts appear.
We have many accounts with the same name, but with different months, for example, so then we need to search search through a lot of old accounts to find the correct one. It would be best if only open accounts came up - it was like that before, so I don't understand why it has changed?
An example here - Because here they are invoiced monthly, so the company's name also has the month plus the following year. When the month is over and the invoice has been sent, I choose close account so there won't be a lot of open accounts.
But if I'm going to move a charge and search for cenco, then all accounts that exist come up, so I have to look for them
