Day of the week notation on Room Diary header / updates to calendar colors based on Weekend Day settings

Villa Santa Cruz would like to see the day of the week added to the room diary header so that they know at a glance which date is which day of the week.
The color delimiters for are helpful for Saturday/Sunday, however, it would be more helpful if the colors reflected the actual weekend days set for the hotel like other calendar screens do (if you select Friday, Saturday, Sunday - only Saturday Sunday are highlighted on the Room Diary header but all 3 days are highlighted on the Availability screen, Rate Manager, etc.).
