Ideas and Future Requests

Hello,

I have a general question.  I requested the below idea/feature request for Knowledge Base and Customer Support.  Is there a centralized location for a status update on my suggestion?  There are no open tickets in the check status area.

Hi Keith,

Updates are generally provided when our team makes a decision to improve something. By commenting on/creating the feature request, you are subscribed to it and will therefore receive any future updates to the email address linked to your account. Our product roadmap is planned out quite a ways in advance so recent suggestions are unlikely to get an immediate / quick update unless they are already in the pipeline.

Inevitably, we can’t enhance everything all at once, and ultimately not all feature requests are actualized because our product and development teams have to focus on what will be most impactful for the majority of hotels on Stayntouch. Also, some features take longer to develop as well if they are more complex. I was a user for a long time before I started working for Stayntouch… some of my earliest feature requests 5-6 years ago are still being implemented now, and many have been released throughout the years. I love that Stayntouch truly listens to its users and asks for feedback like this… it is one of the reasons I became such a big fan and ultimately work here now! If a feature enhancement request would be useful to you, the best way to get traction on it is to comment on and upvote the existing feature request and urge your colleagues to do the same. If it doesn’t already exist, you can make a new feature request like you have done already.
