Dashboard Integration for Guest Stay Card Alerts


Currently, alerts are only visible within the guest stay card itself. To enhance efficiency and oversight, it would be beneficial for Front Office (FO) managers to have these alert messages visible directly on the dashboard.

We propose the addition of a new feature that displays guest stay card alerts as a tile on the dashboard. This tile would provide a quick overview of any new alerts added to reservations, allowing FO managers to monitor important updates in real-time without needing to access each guest's stay card individually. The tile should include an indicator  to notify managers whenever a new alert has been added.

Benefits:

  • Improved visibility of critical information for FO managers.
  • Streamlined workflow by reducing the need to click into individual guest stay cards to view alerts.
  • Enhanced ability to quickly address and respond to important guest-related issues.

Use Case:
Whenever a new alert is added to a guest reservation, the dashboard tile would update to reflect this change, allowing FO managers to immediately see and address the alert without additional steps.
