We would like the ability to have rate values updated with the values populated in the CRS.
Our CRS has far more complex pricing logic than can be achieved in the PMS rate configuration. For example, CRS can have a dynamic rate (% off a parent rate) where the discount varies by season, day of week, room type, etc. Additionally, CRS can have a rate that is dynamic but has a floor & ceiling value (matching how many Negotiated account rates are built these days). Since the CRS ultimately manages and publishes the prices for every other distribution channel our hotels are connected to, it only makes sense to have it also update our PMS - the only holdout channel that manages pricing separate from the CRS.
