Credit Card Authorization Form Solution for Mandatory CVV

The Inn at Burlington uses Sertifi for guest and group credit card authorization forms. Since their payment provider requires the CVV for security purposes when entering / posting payment to a cc, but Sertifi will not reveal the CVV to the hotel, it requires them to contact their guests to get that manually. This is not ideal for the hotel team or for the guests. Some potential fixes to this would be:

1. Integration to Sertifi that supports guest reservations and ideally group blocks / accounts as well.

2. Ability to turn off CVV mandatory requirement (unlikely given that the payment provider has instructed Stayntouch that it must be mandatory for security purposes)

3. Enhancements to our existing pay-by-link functionalities...

• We would need a Pay By Link option for groups/accounts
• A card can always be provided even if no payment is due right now
• More security and identity validation features like Sertifi / Canary offer for cc authorization forms so that chargebacks are able to be fought successfully for credit cards provided this way
