I am writing to request the development of a new report that will allow us to efficiently view and track modified reservations.
The objective of this report is to provide us with a comprehensive log of reservations that have been modified, including any changes made to the arrival or departure dates. By having access to this data, we will be able to verify and investigate any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the reservation modification process.
Key Requirements for the Report:
1. Reservation Details: The report should display all relevant reservation information, such as customer name, reservation ID, and reservation dates (including original and modified dates).
2. Modification Records: Each modified reservation should have a corresponding entry in the report, indicating the date and time of the modification, as well as the specific changes that were made.
3. Search and Filter Functionality: The report should allow us to search and filter reservations based on specific criteria, such as customer name, reservation ID, or modification date. This will help us quickly find and analyze specific records as needed.
4. User Access and Security: The report should have appropriate access controls to ensure that only authorized personnel can view and interact with the data. User roles and permissions should be implemented to maintain data confidentiality and integrity.
5. Export and Print Options: The ability to export the report as a downloadable file (e.g., PDF or Excel) and/or print it in a readable format would be highly beneficial.
