Hi Leah,
This is currently possible. I suggest using a deposit rule set to collect the full amount of the stay (100% Nightly) on the day of arrival and exclude from auto collection. Upon arrival, the user will be prompted to take payment in full for the remaining balance. Then, during the check in process, the credit card (or a new one if a different one is provided) can be authorized for incidentals only. Is it possible to confirm authorization and immediate charge upon check in? I am looking to see two separate charges, one charge for total room and tax and another for an incidental at the time the guest is checking in. I would also like to know if the system could be configured to select the amount of the incidental charge prior to processing the card? Lastly, I would like to know if there could be an option to change to credit card for incidental transaction, in the event a guest is interested in a using two different cards for each transaction.
