Enhancement to Automatic No Show and Cancellation Handling for OTAs

Cobblestone Chippewa Falls is also interested in this enhancement.
This would be a feature the entire Cobblestone Hotels portfolio would like to see added.
Cobblestone De Pere is also interested in this enhancement.
We at the Cobblestone in Mosinee want this too! The no-show charges are taxed and therefore, the no-show charges are adding taxes to tax-exempt OTAs.

CODA Williamsburg has enabled automatic no-show charge posting during EOD.
The only trouble they have is that some reservations incur taxable no-show fees (most booked direct, Expedia Hotel Collect, and other some other OTAs) but some reservations incur non-taxable no-show fees (OTAs where the taxes are remitted on behalf of the hotel). This means that a user has to monitor the auto posted no-show fees and when the wrong charge code auto posted, they need to adjust off the auto posting and re-post on the other no-show charge code.
More and more state governments are re-writing taxation laws to have third parties collect and remit taxes on behalf of the guest when they guest pays the third party for the booking, so this is already applicable for a lot of hotels but will continue to become more and more applicable.
It would be beneficial to allow hotels to select what no-show charge code should be posted at the rate code level.
This also applies to cancellation handling and would be beneficial to enhance for both types of fees.
