Bunk Hotel Amsterdam/Utrecht is requesting this feature enhancement too.
Essex Resort & Spa is also looking for this - and it is imperative for them that this coincides with an enhancement to allow for the consumption of charge codes with varying tax configurations for resort credits.

Cedar Court requesting this as well: they explained their desire for flexible allowances applicable across multiple charge codes (e.g., food and beverage), allowing for carry-over between days within a stay. They cited a need to accommodate various package offerings, offering flexibility for guest spending while maintaining control over allocated funds.

Hotels utilizing the allowance feature have expressed a desire to have floating allowances that are offered on a per-stay basis no matter how many nights the reservation is for.
With this, an allowance could be added to a reservation and it would allow the consumable charges to be consumed at any point during the stay rather than on the first night, nightly, or every week.
This would be very useful because many hotels offer package add-ons in this fashion for higher end travel agencies like Fine Hotels & Resorts, Virtuoso, etc. They also would like to use these on their own websites, etc. to drive direct bookings.
