Credit Card - Pre Authorization for groups

I also request this function be added to the GROUP menu-- Hotels must be able to take an authorization of a credit card in advance of arrival date (a week or so prior ), that will be used for payment -- Thank you,
All our properties need to have an option of taking an authorization in a PM, just as you do in a guest reservation. With this option, I'll be able to hold onto the authorization opposed to charging a credit card. For example, we have a group who would like to pay in a different method after they check out, so having the ability to authorize a card before check in and then charging after they check out. Please advise if you could create a feature for this, thank you!
