Ability to cancel a reservation in SNT after check-in

There is a prior topic - but 3 years old - we have reservations get to the room and or after CI time and then cancel and the reservation is then stuck in the system.

This also inhibits the ability of cancellation flow from the OTAs to process after a guest has CI in SNT. 


Should there not be the ability to reverse a CI and then cancel the res?
