Maven at Dairy Block would also like to see a max threshold feature.
Great news! In v5.79, a maximum amount threshold for the extra adult/child values was implemented. You can see more details here!

Currently, when adding 100% to the EXTRA ADULT/CHILD MIN. AMOUNT THRESHOLD field it keeps the Extra Adult/Child rate the same amount as long as the derived rate is less than the parent rate. But if the derived rate is set to be more than the parent rate then the Extra/Adult Child Rate amount does increase.
For example, say a hotel has a golf package rate and it is configured to be $100 more than Best Available Rate. That $100 will be added to the Extra Adult and Child Rates and it shouldn't be.
The EXTRA ADULT/CHILD MIN. AMOUNT THRESHOLD function should work with both instances of derived rates.
