Bills & Charges: Split Payments

When splitting a payment to two separate reservations we want SNT to track where the payment got transferred to. SNT currently track where the payment got  "TRANSFERRED FROM"  BUT not where the payment got "TRANSFERRED TO":

For example in BILL #1 of the 2nd reservation it shows:   Mastercard Payment     "TRANSFERRED FROM SMITH, DOE RESV#10000, ROOM #101".

There should be a record on BILL#1 of the 1st reservation which shows:  Mastercard Payment   "TRANSFERRED TO SMITH, DOE  RESV#10200  ROOM # 103"

But in the original reservation it does not show where the money got "TRANSFERRED TO".  When you look at the invoice there is no way of knowing where any money got transferred to.... unless you dig deep in the activity log and who has time for that.  If you can track where the money is being transferred from why can't you track where the money is transferred to?  I'm sure this is a quick fix.

Also, when doing a split payment the original payment made must never be changed... as the original payment shows on the guests' credit card statement.  Instead of changing the original payment there should be a new transaction line showing the amount being split. This way the amount on the credit card statement and the payment charged from the hotel matches when an invoice is given to the guest.

Currently, if you split a payment, the original amount charged automatically changes to a new amount, which does not match the credit card statement.  When guest looks at the invoice they are so confused and super upset since there is no explanation of what happened to their original payment.  They want to see on the invoice the payment that got charged on their credit card and if the payment got split, where the payment was split to.   Again, there needs to be a track record on their invoice of each payment transaction and when it was transferred or split and where it got transferred to and transferred from.

I hope this gets resolved soon and please call me if you need further explanation.  Thank you and hope to hear from someone soon about this change.
