For commissions it would be much easier for the accounting department if the commissions were connected to IATA numbers instead of the rate codes themselves. 95% of the reservations are payable commissions, but only a tiny fraction are appearing as commissionable in the commission section. This is due to the rate code being marked as non-commissionable, even if we toggle the commission button on the reservation, the rate code won't allow it. Only revenue managers have access to update the rates, and are far to busy and would find it far to burdensome if we sent a master list of rates and asked him to correct them all individually. This is a major time consumption for me at the end of the month, when I have to go into the commission tab and create an Onyx manual spreadsheet for all the commissions our system missed. And as we get busier that list gets longer.
